How we evaluate and describe the condition of pre-owned items

Our grading system can help you understand the condition of the items sold in our store. Each item is assigned a label based on the visible evidence of use caused by wear, storage, and laundering. We evaluate each item and take care to document any significant flaws. You can find condition ratings in the item description tab of our product listings.

New

New condition items include tags and/or original packaging, with no evidence of wear.

Excellent

Items described as Excellent have no significant signs of use. These clothing items are typically worn 1-2 times, or not at all.

Very Good

Items described as Very Good show minor signs of previous use but remain in excellent overall condition. These items have been well cared for and exhibit no significant flaws or damage.

Good

Items described as good condition have been worn and laundered, but remain fully wearable and functional. These items may exhibit minor flaws and colour fading. Any highly visible evidence of wear will be documented in the item description.
